How to open ports in our router

In order for any service we offer over the Internet from our computer to work properly, it is very important to have the port of that service open.

This method works for any type of port and router. However, depending on your router model, the menu may vary, as well as the password to access it.

In this case we are going to see how to open port 8000. Port that we had used in the previous videotutorial of “Go to How to create an online radio station with Winamp and Shoutcast”.

This example is made from the router model “Cisco EPC3825 EuroDocsis 3.0” but as we say, fits any other router model, only that it will change the menu path a bit.
